The World Between A – B
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on the 23rd April at our Education Centre in Enfield to attend a training seminar delivered by Alan Vinther of Guldmann Consulting.
The day proved to be informative and thought provoking with the delegates providing positive feedback about the content, venue, practical involvement – as well as the lunch.
The course provided training that was less about H&S regulations/general M&H training and very much more focused about what can be done and achieved from a hoist in between the usual lift and placement from A to B.
A special mention goes to Alan Vinther who scheduled the day in with the seminars and training he delivers all over the world. Alan is developing training to widen the way hoists are used and thought about beyond simple A to B transfers. Including early mobilisation, therapy, positioning and transfer assistance, the format provokes consideration about equipment usage etc and offers additional ideas and discussion points.
